Abolore Akande, popularly known as “9ice”, is a Nigerian music legend whose infectious beats and powerful use of Yoruba have captivated audiences for over two decades.

Born to a polygamous family, music has always been his passion. Starting his journey in the early 2000s with groups like "Mysterious Boys" and "Abinibi Boys," he honed his skills before launching his successful solo career.

The period between 2005 and 2009 marked a meteoric rise for 9ice. Hits like "Gongo Aso," "Street Credibility," and "Make Dem Talk" cemented his place as a pioneer in the Afrobeats scene. His lyrical expertise, particularly his ability to weave powerful messages into Yoruba verses, has resonated deeply with fans across generations.

A true artist with a prolific output, 9ice boasts over 12 albums, with a double album currently in the works. From early releases like "Certificate" to other projects like "Tip of the Iceberg" and "My Dictionary Others Diary," he continues to evolve and experiment, pushing musical boundaries.

Ric Hassani, known for his soulful melodies, completes the powerhouse judging panel on Nigerian Idol this season.

Nigerian singer-songwriter Ric Hassani is a leading voice in Afrobeat and R&B. His musical journey began in 2012 with the release of his debut single, "Dance Dance Baby Dance," followed by "Double Double."

Hassani's career reached new heights in 2015 when he became the first Nigerian artist to headline the Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi. In the same year, he released both a compilation album, "African Tour Select Singles 2015," and an acoustic EP featuring fan favourites.

The smash hit "Gentleman" arrived in December 2015, serving as the lead single for his highly anticipated debut album, "The African Gentleman," released in July 2017. The album's success was solidified by "Only You," streamed over 42 million times across platforms.

Hassani's sophomore album, "The Prince I Became" (2021), featured collaborations with renowned artists like Nicky Jam, Sauti Sol, Peruzzi, and Reekado Banks. He further cemented his reign with his critically acclaimed third album, "Afro Love," a 14-track exploration of love infused with soulful melodies, rhythmic beats, and masterful acoustics.
