It all ends tonight! The Top 8 are finally departing the No Loose Guard house after 70 days of tasks, wagers, kisses, ships, twists and turns – but only one housemate will leave with the coveted title of Season 9 winner of Big Brother Naija.
Of course, there was still a whole day to get through, and the housemates have spent it chilling and preparing for the big night, so they can make sure they’re relaxed (as much as is possible on such a big night!) and looking fab when the moment arrives for Ebuka to announce the winner. Here’s just what to do to pull off such a big night.
Get your hair done
The preparations for the day kicked off with the usual Lush salon pampering session. Hair, makeup, nails. Everything needs to look on point for the moment they step on that stage.
Dress to impress
Whether it’s Ebuka during a live show or the housemates at a pool party or Saturday night gbedu, Big Brother Naija always promises top-notch style and flair. The Top 8 are sure to pull out all the stops when it comes to their outfits tonight.
Pump up the volume
Nothing picks up the mood and gets a vibe going like a few upbeat tunes, and Biggie’s been delivering all day. The housemates had a lethargic start, and were somewhat reserved during the day; but as night approaches, the energy is picking up, with lots of nervous giggling and excitement.
Take a load off
When preparing for a big night, it’s a good idea to clear your mind. In the Big Brother house, there’s no better way than with a diary room session. Talking with Biggie has kept housemates focused throughout the season, and shifted their perspective when necessary. The housemates have met Big Brother for their final diary sessions, sharing their thoughts and feelings on everything from what they’ll do with the money if they win, what they’ll do when they’ve left the house, and who they think will step away with the ultimate title.
At home
