We welcomed this April with the return of some pretty amazing fan-favourites β and saying our Africa Magic family (you, of course) did the right thing and chopped content would be an understatement. Entertainment galore dey! We do have a couple more tricks up our sleeves for the remainder of the month, but for now, though, letβs check into the TL and see how you guys reacted to the first eps.
Judging Matters Β
Ebuka and Justice Williams brought the wheel back in motion and served us the best courtroom drama on the first episode of Judging Matters. While the intention is to mediate and resolve disputes fairly while ensuring that the law is upheld, laughs are part of the package too. Just last night, one prophet with 30 years (someone heard βdaysβπ) of experience went and sold his neighbourβs engine without compensating him, and told justice Williams that he was God-sent. Sharp guy!Β
Omo! There was also bros that said there were different types of 'abroads'! π These people will not kill us thisΒ April, abi?!Β
Comedy Nites
Ik and the gag captains brought the fun back to our living roomsΒ with the premiere of the rib-tickling third season of Comedy Nites. The premiere episode saw the likes of Phage, Forever, as well as our resident masterΒ of the decks and current Nigerian Idol judge, DJ Sose strutting their stuff.

Judging by how busy your thumbs were last season, we're certain you'll love, love, LOVE the current season too. Tune in every Thursday at 9 pm on DStv CHB 153 AM Urban, and don't forget to engage with us using the tag #AMComedynites.Β
Old Mutual Amazing VoicesΒ
It all started with a round of virtual auditions held in the respective regions where musical groups sent through their best work and hoped for that call; and now, we are that much closer to the action because two groups from each participatingΒ country have been chosen to take centre stage!
Β
And as has come to be expected with any season of Amazing Voices, the continent couldn't keep calm about host Thembisa's ensemble...
... and though the battles of the regions are yet to begin, you were already pushing the agenda for your favs and Tweeting your flags right to the top of the trend lists.Β
The first episode served so much melody, we absolutely can't wait for the rest of the menu, especially since Nigeria is participating this time around! π₯³ Watch #AmazingVoicesAfrica on Sundays at 4 pm on DStv CH 154 to support your favs.Β
Eve
It's years later and things have changed in the Lagos legal compound. Ezinne is married and a partner at a law firm, Momoh is back and may as well be fighting for Kemi's hand, and the crimes are bloodier than ever. But hold on biko! Can we talk about how confusing last night's episode was. Like, who's Ezinne's hubby? What happened to HarrisΒ and Cole? What's Adelomo's agenda this time?Β E burst our brain too TBH! π€―
We certainly hope it doesn't end in tears for Ezinne sha! Assin, why in the world would she partner with Adelomo? Is itΒ the wit or twist in his character that makes people take a risk on him? Always sha! Catch the action on Mondays at 9 pm on DStv CH 151 AM Showcase.Β
