The Big Brother Naija Housemates assembled in the Arena for what was going to be an action-packed night of competition. As per usual the main point of the game was to get to step 30 before the time runs out, or as close as possible. The Housemates also had to deal with the activities thrown at them along the way. The new set of activities added to spice up this week’s game were:
- Ring toss: the Housemate had to get their ring onto one of the bottles by tossing it to pass this step.
- Ball pong: The Housemates needed to bounce the two balls into the cups to pass this step.
- Flip a cup: The Housemates had to successfully flip over a cup to pass this step.
- Drink water: The Housemates need to drink a bottle of water to pass this step.
- Basketball Hoop: The Housemates had to shoot a basketball into a hoop to pass this step.
- Big Brother eye sketch: The Housemates had to sketch their version of the iconic Big Brother Eye to pass this step.
When it came time to play the game, Nengi got proceedings underway and her efforts landed her on step 23. Next to play was Neo who only managed to get to step 18 during his turn. He was followed by Vee, Ozo, Dorathy, and Laycon who all didn’t manage to get past step 16.
This meant that Nengi was crowned as the week eight Head of House, and during the announcement of her win Biggie let the Housemates know that she was also officially the first finalist. The Housemates were then immediately split into two teams to decide as a group who are the two people from the other groups they would Nominate for Eviction.
As soon as one difficult activity ended, the next one kicked off in earnest. The Housemates were perplexed by this new twist which saw the three-member group having to Nominate two Housemates each from the opposite team. After much deliberation and back and forth it was Ozo, Dorathy, Laycon, and Trikytee who were put up for possible Eviction.
