Amidst Margaret's relationship drama and trying to recover from the store robbery, she discovers in her home front that everything is not well, too! In a shocking CCTV video retrieved by Chinedu and security officers, she spotted her daughter, Tomi, attempting to steal from the Treatz store, only to be stopped by Nnamdi, who failed to inform Margaret about the occurrence.
Margaret confronts Nnamdi
Due to the nature of their relationship, one would expect Nnamdi to let Margaret know that her daughter is acting out of character. However, Nnamdi claimed he believed she was just troubled and acting out like adolescent kids occasionally do, so he decided to pay for the items she wanted, and he made her promise never to do it again. Margaret was livid and spazzed out at Nnamdi, who tried to rectify the situation; however, she was not having it.
Margaret and Tayo speak to Tomi
After confronting Nnamdi, Margaret immediately informed her ex-husband and Tomi's father, Tayo, who was also as appalled, and they both decided to have a sit-down conversation with their daughter. During the chat, Tomi was questioned about why she stole batteries and forced to bring out the items she shoplifted; when she did, Tomi immediately burst into tears, which led to an emotional moment where Tomi apologised and revealed her reason for acting out stemmed from suppressed anger and her parent's divorce. Tomi misses and yearns to see her parents together again. Margaret and Tayo reassured Tomi and promised to always be present despite their busy schedules. Do you think Tomi might act out again?
