Celebrity Game Night – based on the Primetime Emmy Award-winning series Hollywood Game Night – sees Mzanzi’s famous faces let their hair down and compete in an evening of raucous challenges that are guaranteed to leave viewers in stitches. Back to battle it out with the help of their celebrity squads are team captains, Ayanda Thabethe and Jason Goliath, while Anele Mdoda returns to take charge as host.

The first two seasons included some of the biggest names in local entertainment including Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Unathi Nkayi, Dineo Langa, Ice Prince, Boity, Riky Rick, Maps Maponyane, Kwesta, Kelly Khumalo, Danny K, Thando Thabethe, Warren Masemola and Lerato Kganyago. Expect a whole host of fresh faces and some returning fan favourites as the popular game show returns for a highly anticipated new season.

“We’re delighted to bring viewers a brand-new season of our SAFTA award-winning local production,” commented Lee Raftery, MD Europe, Middle East & Africa, NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer. “The third season promises plenty of new celebrity guests, never-before-seen games and even an extension to the set!”

Executive produced for NBCUniversal International Networks, Celebrity Game Night is produced by Rapid Blue in Johannesburg. More details – including the celebrities participating in the third season – will be announced in the coming weeks. The Game Night format is distributed globally by NBCUniversal Formats.
